Who is working on XBian?

Easy question, hard to answer. In fact, we might as well not know who is working on XBian. As it is Open Source Software and forking our code (making a copy to modify) is a common process, it can be literally everybody with a PC and/or Pi. However, there are a few ‘key figures’ in the development of XBian and the management of the website.

Developers

  • Koenkk
  • CurlyMo
  • belese

Web

  • BartOtten (Overall webmaster)
  • rikardo1979 (Community Manager, first line support, forum management and press contact)

IRC

  • Brantje

Not all you see is the result of work done by one of the people listed above. Many unlisted members are contributing text, code and support. Those unlisted supporters are a huge part of XBian! They help on the forums, fill the FAQ, collect ideas, etc etc. And while they’re doing so, they save the developers lots of time so they can develop the best XBMC-distribution!

This all means that you too can be a part of XBian! You don’t need programming skills, we don’t ask for high grades. All you need to is respect the Code of Conduct and contribute in some way to this project (you may start here). Welcome to XBian!

Regards,
Listed and unlisted supporters of XBian
