Today we release an one-in-all Download package which contains SABnzbd, Transmission, Headphones, CouchPotato and Sick Beard. To be honest: the author of this article has no idea what they are, but apparently the demand was so strong we could not deny it. We have configured them for you, hoping we have found the best values for using it on the Raspberry Pi. You may download them using xbian-config > Packages > Download
Ohhh. and all those screenshot junkies out there..here is something for you…

Whoa whoa whoa, hold on!
So you’re saying this will allow people to run these services at the back end behind XBMC?
Mcmoobud
No, we’re saying this will allow people to run these services at the back end behind XBMC ;-)
OMFG. You guys are the absolute tits. Just when I think something can’t get any more awesome, you go and make something totally unexpected and AWESOME available.
I’m not entirely sure about this but correct me if I’m wrong.
By installing Transmission am I able to access my Transmission queue and downloads via browser from the internet? Is that possible?
Yup !!
I have installed this twice now anf both times xbian stops working saying that there are libs missing but all the programs work fine
Could you specify what libs are missing?
Hi, I’ve just install Download package. I have no problems with the instalation. However, I can only access to transmission. I have no idea how to access to the rest (port, web page….) .
Could you make a simple tutorial o any explication about that?
Thanks for your effort!!!!!!!
Have a look at one of the post hereunder. :)
And now I can die happy!
This all sounds awesome, thanks guys!
Do we need to arrange something so you can leave your herritage to us ;)
Just in case this would save someone else some hassle. It’s not noted anywhere I can find, but the ports for these applications are 9091-9095. Their logins are the standard xbian name/pwd.
all is can be found here
http://forum.xbian.org/showthread.php?pid=1715#pid1715
would it be possible to request for rtorrent to be added or an option as to which programs in the package can be installed?
The author is not the only person who doesn’t know what these do. Could someone enlighten me please? :-)
This package caused dome serious problems for me. Xbmc became very slow and would just stop, often within seconds of booting, removal of the packages fixed the issue.
These services seem to use to much memory and cause a
“Out of memory” event:
(Kill process 4523 (xbmc.bin) score 256 or sacrifice child)
What is the best way of removing parts of this package that we don’t need? I’m only interested in Transmission but would like to keep the settings/optimizations that have been implemented in the package.

Isn’t the Raspberry Pi to weak to run a full blown sabnzb?
It is a great mediacenter or webserver etc but raspberry is as far a I know not capable of downloading (+50 Mbits) with sabnzb and do some sort of post processing.
Please let me know when I am wrong
You are wrong.
;-) Actually, I have no idea but I guess it’s not as the developer uses it himself. However, I think the downloadrate won’t be met when there is a +50 Mbits line
No, i don’t ;) Not on my RPi at least.
However, all feedback will be taken seriously into the next package version.
I use sabnzbd every day on the pi. A download averages about 700kb/s. It has only once or twice been an issue where I needed something faster.
i agree that might be a problem for raspberry pi hardware.
but i wonder if there is a way to use 8 Raspberry Pi’s and split the sabnzbd work. so that i could use the power of 8 CPU’s. i got a 150mbit connection so it would be nice if that project could get the full potential.
thx 4 the A all-in-one Download package
How to remove the all-in-one package?
Installed it to test, but want to remove it.
config->packages had only the option or

That’s funny, I decided to install those apps on my pi and as luck would have it, there it is. Yay
